Hello,

Here is a mixed media postcard I made using the digital stamp Modern Alice in Wonderland from The Octopode Factory.

I coloured the background with Star On ink pads in Teal Blue, Sunflower Yellow and Royal Purple.

The word dream is a die cut that I silver embossed.

I coloured Alice with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added purple stickles to the bow in her hair.

I edged around the entire thing with black Staz On.

Magic! Mixed Media Postcard

Hello,

Here is a mixed media postcard I made using the digital stamp Whimsical Castle with Princess from Vera Lane Studio.

I used a whole sheet of Tim Holtz watercolor paper.

For the background, I used Dylusions Inks in Calypso Teal, Crushed Grape, and Bubblegum Pink.

I coloured her and the castle with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut them out.

The flowers were also from the stamp set and I covered them with Elmer's glue and then sprinkled on Doodlebug glitter (they call it Doodlebug Sugar Coating...how cute)

I added a small pink flower sticker to her dress and some yellow gems from K & Company on her crown.  I added clear Wink of Stella to her crown and her entire dress.

The small red stars are stickers from Queen & Company.

I added Glossy Accents to the windows on the castle.

Fortune Teller Postcard

Hello,

Here is a mixed media postcard I made using the digital stamp Imelda the Fortune Teller from The Octopode Factory.

I used Dylusions Ink Sprays in Crushed Grape, Cut Grass, Lemon Zest and Bubblegum Pink. I flicked water to create splotches and went around the edges with Distress Ink in Black Soot.

The 2 hands in the corners are from a Dylusions stamp set. I coloured them and fussy cut them out. I used Glossy Accents on the dots and coloured the fingernails with a red Sharpie.

I used Inkadinkado sunburst and swirls stamps in the background and embossed them in white.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I used Scribbles paint on her necklace and around the jewel on her head.

For both her crystal ball and jewel, I used Stickles in icicle. When that was dry I did 2 thick layers of Glossy Accents. The glitter looks like it's caught inside and I love how they turned out.

I edged the sentiment with a black Gel pen.

Mixed Media Mermaid Postcard

Hello,

Here is my 1st mixed media postcard. I used the rubberstamp Smushasha by Stampotique.

I used a piece of Tim Holtz's watercolour paper.

I used a bunch of different Distress Inks and then sprayed the entire sheet with water.

I used a diamond stamp and black Staz On.

I used a Simon Says Stamp star stencil and Fired Brick Distress Ink in the middle. I then randomly placed purple and blue stars using Peacock Feathers and Seedless Preserves Distress Ink.

I then sprayed the entire thing with Tattered Angels Glimmer spray in Trunk Bay to give an all over shimmer.

I coloured the mermaid with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I used a Ranger embossing pen and some gold embossing powder for the bow in her hair.

I added Ranger's holographic embossing powder over her entire body and tail.

Here's an upclose look:
I decided to make her fly by giving her some butterfly wings. The butterfly is an Inkadinkado stamp and I added Stickles in icicles along the edges after colouring and fussy cutting it out.

I used a die for the word believe from My Little Yellow Bicycle. I covered it in Versmark and embossed it in silver. I added a diamond gem for the dot of the i.

I edged around the rest of the sentiment with a silver Gel pen.
