Vera Lane Alice in Wonderland ATCoins

Hello,

Here are a couple artist trading coins I made for a swap in the Vera Lane Studio group on Facebook.

I used Dylusions paint and stencils for the backgrounds.

The digital stamps are called Alice and Rabbit I coloured them with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut them out. I added Glossy Accents to their eyes and red Stickles to the rabbit's heart.

I used Tim Holtz word stickers for the sentiments and edged around the entire circles in Black Soot Distress Ink.

Thankful for You ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made for a swap in the Vera Lane Studio group on Facebook.

I used Distress Inks and stencils for the background. 

The digital stamps are called girl and cat with hats I coloured the cat with watercolour pencils and the girl with Prismacolour markers. I fussy cut them out.

I used Glossy Accents for the dots on her dress and Stickles for the pom pom on her hat.

I used Tim Holtz word stickers for the sentiment and added 2 heart stickers.

I edged around the entire ATC with Black Soot Distress Ink and added striped washi tape along the bottom.

Vera Lane Girls Artist Trading Coins

Hello,

Here are artist trading coins I made for a swap in the Vera Lane Studio group on Facebook.

I used paper scraps for the backgrounds and the images are digital stamps from Vera Lane Studio. 

I coloured the images with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut them out.

I added Glossy Accents to the pockets and dots.

I used Tim Holtz word stickers for the setntiments.

Vera Lane Studio Artist Trading Coins

Hello,

Here are my artist trading coins that I made for a Vera Lane Studio swap on Facebook.

I used scrapbook paper for the backgrounds. I used the digital stamps Unicorn and Pegasus and Vera's Zombies and fussy cut them out. 

I coloured the cat image with watercolour colored pencils and the unicorn image with Prismacolour markers. 
I added Stickles to the unicorn's mane and horn and Glossy Accents for their eyes. 
I used Tim Holtz stickers for the sentiments and edged them with Black Soot Distress Ink.

Always and Forever ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made for the Vera Lane FB group swap called "Seeing Red." I used the digital stamp set Cindy Clawford from Vera Lane Studio.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added dimensional heart stickers to her eyes and clear Wink of Stella.

For the background, I used Dylusions Paints in Bubblegum Pink and Slate Grey. I used some red StazOn ink and a lip/kiss stamp. 

I used some Tim Holtz word stamps for the sentiment and edged around them with a black Gel pen. I added some heart washi tape to the bottom and edged around the entire ATC with black Archival ink.

Trick or Treat Bunny Girl ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made for the Vera Lane Studio FB group swap called "Halloween Mix Up." I used the white rabbit's ears and feet from the set Alice and Rabbit the girl from the set Vera's Zombies and the crow/pumpkin bag from the set The Little Witch from Vera Lane Studio. 

The background paper of purple with black bats is from Recollections.

I coloured the crow and girl with Prismacolour and Spectrum Noir markers. I fussy cut them out and used Glossy Accents on their eyes.

I used red Stickles for the heart on her dress.

The trick or treat sentiment is from Tim Holtz "Occasions" word sticker set.

I gave her a little pumpkin treat bag.

Ordinary is Extraordinary Tag

Hello,

Here is a tag I made using the flower digital stamp of the Alice Elements Set from The Octopode Factory.

I used Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn and Cracked Pistachio for the background. I flicked on some water to create some droplets.

I edged around the entire tag with silver embossing powder.

I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut it out. I drew my own stem and attached it behind the flower, which I popped up using foam tape.

I added Glossy Accents to her eyes and some green wide ribbon to the top.

The sentiment is a sticker phrase from Tim Holtz.

Dream Alice Mixed Media Postcard

Hello,

Here is a mixed media postcard I made using the digital stamp Modern Alice in Wonderland from The Octopode Factory.

I coloured the background with Star On ink pads in Teal Blue, Sunflower Yellow and Royal Purple. 

I embossed some dot circles with embossing powder and added some coloured jewels to their centers. 

The word dream is a die cut that I silver embossed.

I coloured Alice with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added purple stickles to the bow in her hair. 

I edged around the entire thing with black Staz On.

Be You, Bravely ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I created for the Mixed Up! Swap in the Vera Lane Studio Facebook group. I used the head of one of the zombie flowers from the Cindy Clawford set, the body from the You are Magic set, and the legs from the Girl and Cat with Hats set from Vera Lane Studio.

I coloured her with Faber Castell watercolour pencils and fussy cut out all of the different pieces. I added Glossy Accents to her one eye.

I added clear Wink of Stella to her flower petals and purple Stickles to her dress. 

I added black stripped skinny washi tape along the bottom. 

I edged along the entire ATC with Black Soot Distress ink.

Here's a look at just the background:
For the background, I used an ATC stencil from Joggles called Mini Cyclone and Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey and Broken China.

Wicked ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made using the digital stamp Gloomsville Witch from The Octopode Factory.

I used some iridescent spiderweb paper for the background. 

I added some black and grey stripped skinny washi tape along the bottom.

I coloured the witch and her cat with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut them out. I added Glossy Accents to both of their eyes. 

I added a star sticker hanging from her hat and the spider venom is cut from some Halloween scrapbook paper.

Stay Curious ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made for a recent Collage Swap in the Vera Lane Studio Facebook group. I used the cat digital stamp from the set Girl and Cat with Hats from Vera Lane Studio.

The background is made from 3 different scrap papers and I splattered some white Dylusions paint on them. 

I added some polka dot washi tape along the bottom.

I diecut 2 arrows from some book paper that I coloured with watercolours. 

I coloured both the tree and cat with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut them out. I added Glossy Accents to the dots on the tree and clear Wink of Stella to the cat's spots.

I edged around the entire ATC with black Archival Ink.

Never Give Up Tag

Hello,

Here is a tag I made using a digital stamp from the Backyard Monsters set and the wings are from the Wings for Things set from Vera Lane Studio.

I coloured his body with Prismacolour markers and his wings with Faber Castell watercolour pencils. I added Glossy Accents to his eyes and Wink of Stella onto the wings. 

The background is collaged with a bunch of different scrapbook paper. I added some gold heart vellum on the left side and a circle-punch circle with a star sticker to the right. 

I went around the entire thing with black Distress Ink and added a star ribbon to the top. 

I attached a star paper clip and a blue arrow sticker.

The Octopode Factory ATC Swap

Hello,

I participated in a group swap on Instagram with the theme of using only Octopode Factory digital stamp images. These are the cards I made for it.

#1:
This image is called Steampunk Lady Audrey. I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and used a red enamel dot for her eye. I used some scrapbook paper for the background and added some black and white dot washi tape along the side. 

#2:
This image is called Easter Lamb Girl. I coloured her with Spectrum Noir markers. I added a sparkly flower sticker to her hair and a silver butterfly sticker. I used some yellow butterfly paper for the background.

#3:
This image is called Whimsical Alice. I used Dylusions spray inks on the background along with a diamond stamp. I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and added a crown sticker to her head. I added a purple flower sticker and some purple enamel dots to her crown.

#4:
This image is called Flutterby Butterfly. I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and added Glossy Accents to the hearts and dots on the wings. I used scrapbook paper for the background and added some washi tape along the bottom.

#5:
This image is called Steampunk Lady Flo. I coloured her with Prismcolour markers. I used a white enamel dot for her eye. I used a cog embossing folder for the background and painted it with purple acrylic paint. I added some skinny washi tape along the bottom.

#6:
This image is called Zombie Love. I coloured her with Primacolour markers and added Stickles to the flower on her head. The heart she is holding is an epoxy sticker. I embossed some tombstones along the bottom and added a piece of washi tape at the top.

#7:
This image is called Whimsical Alice. I collaged some flowers for the background. I coloured her with Spectrum Noir markers. I added some skinny gold washi tape along the bottom. 

#8:
This image is called Steampunk Mabel. I stamped some circles for the background in neon ink. I coloured her with Prismacolour markers. I added a strip of silver washi tape along the side.

2016 ATC Club Instagram Swap

Hello,

I was in a year-long ATC group swap on Instagram and would like to share the ATCs I have made for it. Each month we had to create 8 identical ATCs following a certain theme. 

January's theme was birds and here is mine:
I used a digital stamp from Vera Lane Studio. I coloured the bird with coloured pencils and gamsol. I used Dylusions Paints in the background.

February's theme was southwestern and here is mine:
I used a digital stamp from Vera Lane Studio. I coloured the background with Dylusion paints on top of book text. I coloured the flower with Prismacolour markers.

March's theme was favourite artist and here is mine:
I based this off on Van Gogh's starry night which is my favourite painting and artist. I used a digital stamp from Vera Lane Studio. I used Dylusion paints in the background and splattered on some white paint. I coloured the moon with Prismacolour markers.

April's theme was black and white and here is mine:
The panda is from the Mama Elephant stamp set Pandamonium. I used Distress Ink in Black Soot through a star stencil for the background. I used skinny washi tape along the bottom.

May's theme was numbers and here is mine:
The rocket is from a clear stamp set called robots from Recollections. I used Distress Inks on the background and Distress Paint in pocket fence through a number stencil. 

June's theme was bohemian and here is mine:
I used a digital stamp from Vera Lane Studio. I added washi tape to the bottom. I coloured her with Prismacolour markers. The flower in her hand is a sticker that I added a gem to.

July's theme was butterfly and here is mine:
I used a digital stamp from the Octopode Factory. I coloured it with Prismacolour markers. I used a Tim Holtz rays stencil for the background with Dylusions paints. I used butterfly washi tape along the bottom.

August's theme was free and here is mine:
I used a digital stamp from the Octopode Factory. I coloured it with Prismacolour markers. I used Distress Inks and a square stencil for the background. I embossed some flowers with silver embossing powder.

September's theme was favorite quote and here is mine:
The quote is from one of my favourite movies, the Crow. I used a digital stamp from Oddball Art Co. I coloured it with Spectrum Noir markers. I used Dylusion paints over a book page for the background. 

October's theme was Halloween and here is mine:
I used two different digital stamps from Vera Lane Studio. I used a mummy body and attached a pumpkin for the head. I coloured both with Prismacolour markers. I added washi tape along the bottom.

November's theme was harvest and here is mine:
For the background, I stamped some leaves and then coloured them in with colour pencils. I used a ticket with a quote in the center.

December's theme was tacky christmas and here is mine:
I used a digital stamp from Vera Lane Studio and coloured her with Prismacolour markers. I used some Christmas washi tape along the bottom as a sentiment. I used Glossy Accents on the bulbs in her hands and on the tree.

Love Star ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made using the digital stamp set Star from Vera Lane Studio. 

I coloured her with watercolour pencils and a water brush. 

I added some heart stickers in her hair and on her dress.

Here is a look @ the background:

I used Tim Holtz watercolour paper and Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry and Tumbled Glass. I stamped some hearts in Fired Brick while the background was still wet. 

I stamped and white embossed some hearts and flicked on some shimmer paint mixed with water.

I used some Tim Holtz word stickers for the sentiment and edged around them with a red gel pen.

I stamped some arrows with black Archival Ink.

Grilled Cheese Monster ATC

Hello,

Whew! It has really been awhile since my last post lol

Here is an ATC I made using a free digital stamp called monstrous grilled cheese from wonderstrange.

I used some white polka dot scrapbook paper for the background and edged around the entire ATC with Distress Ink in black soot.

I coloured the sandwich up with Prismacolour markers in the colours: PB-69, PB-17, PB-123, and PM-23. I coloured the city with Spectrum Noir markers in IG4 and IG6.

I fussy cut him out and added Glossy Accents to the cheese and his mouth.

Shine and Fly ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made for the "Spring" swap in the Vera Lane Studio FB group. I used one of the fairy digital stamps from the set Firefly Fairies from Vera Lane Studio.

The background is a text book page that I coloured with Dylusions Paints in London Blue and Bubblegum Pink. I also used White Linen Dylusion Paint through a star stencil.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and a flesh tone Copic marker. I used some white Stickles on her wings and silver gemstones on the flowers in her crown. I added a 3D star sticker to her wand.

I used some silver washi tape along the bottom and added Tim Holtz word stickers for the sentiment. 

I edged around the entire ATC with black Archival Ink.

Grow From Love ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made for the VLS "Swap It" Facebook swap using digital stamps from the sets Best Friends (girl head) and Love You the Bone (flower stem) from Vera Lane Studio.

I used watercolour paper and Distress Inks in Broken China, Pickled Raspberry and Seedless Preserves. I watered down some Dylusions Paint in Bubblegum pink and let it drip from top.

I white embossed some circles with stamps from Inkadinkado. I used the dot fade stencil from Tim Holtz with Black Soot Distress Ink.

I coloured the images with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut them out. I used Stickles on the flower in her hair. I used clear Wink of Stella on the stem and in her hair.

I used silver glitter washi tape along the bottom.

I edged the entire ATC with black Archival Ink and used some Tim Holtz sticker words for the sentiment.

Rest Your Wings ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made for the "Put a Bird on It" swap in the Vera Lane Studio FB group. The bird image is a freebie.

I used Distress Inks in Salty Ocean, Mustard Seed, and Picked Raspberry for the background. 

I white embossed some dots and silver embossed some spirals. 

I used a Tim Holtz alphabet stencil and Distress Paint in picket fence.

I coloured the bird with coloured pencils and gamsol. I added Glossy Accents to the feathers on the body and to the bird's eyes. 

I drew my own tree branch and coloured it with Prismacolour markers. 

I added some Tim Holtz word stickers for the sentiment.

Vera Lane Studio Colouring Contest Entry

Hello,

Here is my entry for the postcard colouring contest in the Vera Lane Studio FB group.

I coloured her and the little kitty with Prismacolor markers.

I added Glossy Accents to the dots
on her dress and to both of their eyes. 

I added clear Wink of Stella to her party hat and the kitties tail.

I added Stickles to the top of her hat and to the flower on the kitties hat.

I went around the postcard with my markers making dots in rainbow order.
