Evil Witch Decorated Pumpkin

Happy Halloween,

Here is an evil witch I carved and decorated for 2018. Her chin, eyes, nose and teeth were all done separately and added on.

I carved out the mouth and left a bit to form her gums so I could stick her teeth in later on. I scooped out her eye sockets so her eyeballs would sit inside them.

I formed her chin and nose using an aluminum foil form and paper mache. I used equal parts white glue and water along with cheap 1 ply napkins to give texture.

I attached these with hot glue and toothpicks to give stability, then paper mached a couple layers over the entire pumpkin to blend them into the surface.

Overall, I did about 3 layers of paper mache.

I painted her with green acrylic paint all over. The eye sockets are black and the gums and mouth are red.

Next were her teeth. I made them out of pink polymer clay and baked them in the oven for about 5 mins. I painted them white then added a watered-down brown which I wiped off. I added hot glue and some thin wire onto the back so that I could stick them firmly into the gums.

I used bouncy balls cut in half for her eyes. I painted them white, then made a red iris and black pupil. I attached them using toothpicks and hot glue into the black sockets.

I made a couple warts out of air dry clay and attached them with hot glue to her nose and chin.

I added a black wig which I hot glued to the top of her head along with a witch hat.

Thanks for having a look.

Wicked ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made using the digital stamp Gloomsville Witch from The Octopode Factory.

I used some iridescent spiderweb paper for the background.

I added some black and grey stripped skinny washi tape along the bottom.

I coloured the witch and her cat with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut them out. I added Glossy Accents to both of their eyes.

I added a star sticker hanging from her hat and the spider venom is cut from some Halloween scrapbook paper.

Thanks for having a look.

Halloween Witch Shaker ATC

Hello,

Here is a shaker ATC I made using the digital stamp set Little Witch from Vera Lane Studio. I made this for the September Halloween Swap in the Vera Lane Studio FB group.

To make the shaker part:
I used 2 ATCs. For the 1st ATC, I simply attached some Halloween paper that has iridescent spider webs on it (set aside)
I cut out a window from a second ATC to make a frame. I coloured it with Distress Inks in Hickory Smoke and Black Soot. Working on the backside of this piece, I attached a piece of acetate and added some foam tape all along the sides to give the confetti some room to move. I added silver, green, and purple confetti for the shaker bits.
I then peeled off the backing to the foam tape and carefully laid the 1st ATC on top.
Flip the right way around and viola!

I coloured her and the crow with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut them out. I added Glossy Accents to her buttons/skull and on the crow's eyes. I used clear Wink of Stella on her hat and eyelids.

I attached them along with an iridescent sticker to the front of the shaker.

Happy Halloween ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made using the digital stamp Gloomsville Witch from The Octopode Factory.

The background paper is from the DCWV paper pad Eek a Boo.

I clear embossed a spider web in the top left corner using a stamp from Hampton Art.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I used clear Wink of Stella on her hat and on her dress.

I fussy cut the poison bottle from one of the papers from the same paper pad. I added Glossy Accents on top.

I used a die cut from K & Company for the Happy Halloween sentiment. It was a part of a speech bubble and I just cut the words apart.

I added some glittery black stars above the sentiment and a purple star to the top.

Happy Haunting Card

Hello,

Here is a card I made using the digital stamp Gloomsville Witch from The Octopode Factory.

The background paper is from AC Moore. I added some spiderweb washi tape across the bottom.

I fussy cut poison bottles out from some DCWV paper from the Eek a Boo pack. I added Glossy Accents to them as well.

I coloured the witch with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added Glossy Accents to her eyes and the star hanging off her hat.

I die cut a Spellbinders circle die then ran it through a Tim Holtz poison embossing folder. I coloured it with Distress Inks in Seedless Preserves, Fired Brick, Mowed Lawn and Spiced Marmalade. I then went over the embossed parts with Black Soot.

I used some orange and black fuzzy ribbon I got from Michaels.

I added black gems to the corners of the card.

I edged the sentiment in Black Soot Distress Ink.

Witchy Hope Halloween card

Hello,

Here is a card I made using the rubberstamp Glimmering Hope from Stampotique.

I used a Tim Holtz Halloween words embossing folder for the background and coloured it with Distress Inks in Seedless Preserves, Mowed Lawn and Spiced Marmalade.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added purple Lavender Stickles to her entire skirt. I cut off her bow and added a witch hat. [which is a freebie from The Octopode Factory here}

The spiderweb made outta black gems is from Michaels and is actually a clear sticker that is one whole piece.

I added a puffy caldron sticker next to her and some pink gems along the bottom.

The sentiment is actually a bottle cap image that I punched out and then added an epoxy circle on top.

Gloomsville Witch Tag

Hello,

Here is a tag I made using a digital stamp called Gloomsville Witch (The Witch of Gloomsville and her Gothic Cat Cesar) from The Octopode Factory.

I first mixed together white and black Gesso to get this great grey colour and coated the entire surface of the tag with it.

I then used a Tim Holtz spiderweb embossing folder and rubbed black Staz On over the raised webs.

For the ground I used texture paint and when it was dry, coloured over it with brown Sharpie markers.

I then added a spooky tree and tombstones with white embossing paste and a  stencil that I bought at Michaels.

I coloured the tree with Distress Ink in Gathered Twigs and Vintage Photo and painted the tombstones with the same grey gesso I used on the background.

I coloured the witch and her kitty with Prismacolour markers. I fussy cut them out and popped them up on foam dots. I added Glossy Accents to their eyes and the star hanging off her hat.

I used a die cut from K & Company that said October 31 and placed an epoxy circle on top.

I added sparkly spiderweb ribbon to the top that I bought at Michaels to finish it off.

Oddball Art Co. Witch Card

Hello,

I'd like to share a card I made using a digital stamp called Witch Girl on Broom No. 79 from the Oddball Art Co.

Here's a look:

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and Copics for her skin.

The background paper is from a 12 x 12 pack from Me & My Big Ideas called Trick or Treat. The spiderwebs give off a irresdescent sparkle when they catch the light.

I attached a little die cut spider to her broom and there's a "skull spider" [lol] in the corner.

I dyed the purple mesh ribbon with Dylusions Ink Spray in Crushed Grape and Tattered Angels spray to give it some sparkle.

I went around the sentiment in a silver Gel pen.

Wicked Witch Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

For this wicked witch card, I ended up altering an image from The Octopode Factory.

I used the Devil Girl digital stamp but I cut off her pitchfork and horns. I added a witch hat [freebie from the Octopode blog] and skull.

Here's a look:

She is popped up on foam dots and is coloured with Prismacolour markers.

The skull and crossbones ribbon is from Michaels and so are the 3d skull stickers. The bottle of poison is a Martha Stewart epoxy sticker that I bought last Halloween.

There are a bunch of spooky words printed on the background scrapbook paper and I stamped tiny skulls onto some plain purple paper.

My favourite part of the card is her glittery "skull stick" :D

The sentiment says 'have a wicked birthday' and I think it fits well with her.
