Stampotique Mermaid ATC & Coin

Hello,

Here is a matching artist trading card and coin I made for a Stampotique swap on Facebook.

I used Distress Ink through a stencil for the backgrounds. 

I coloured the images using watercolor coloured pencils and fussy cut them out. 
I used Stickles in her hair and edged around both of them using Black Soot Distress Ink. 

I used Tim Holtz word stickers for the sentiments.

Stampotique Artist Trading Coins

Hello,

Here are my artist trading coins I made for a Stampotique swap on FB.

I used Dylusions paints in various colours for the backgrounds along with stencils and Distress Ink in Black Soot.

I coloured and fussy cut the images. I used Stickles on the wings and bow.

I added washi tape along the side and Tim Holtz word stickers for the sentiments.

Magical Mermaids Art Journal Page

Hello,

Here is an art journal page I made using the rubberstamps Smushallaum Smushasha and Smumanha from Stampotique.


I used Silks Acrylic Glaze in purple for the background. I then dabbed on some Distress Paint in Peacock Feathers which I went over with a baby wipe.

I used Distress Paint in Picked Fence and a circle stamp to create some bubbles.

I used a Dylusions stamp block to draw the wavy border and I coloured in the black lines with a black Sharpie paint pen.

I coloured the mermaids with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut them out. I used yellow Stickles in their hair and Glossy Accents on their eyes.

I used some Tim Holtz word stickers for the sentiment.

Stampotique Seahorses Tag

Hello,

Here is a tag I made using the rubberstamps Reggie and Roger from Stampotique.

I used Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon and Broken China to colour the background. 

I used a bubble stencil and Ranger's white embossing paste.

I coloured the seahorses with Primsacolour markers and fussy cut them out. I added Glossy Accents to the polka dots and their eyes. I also added Glam Pink Stickles.

I trimmed them to fit the "twinchies" or the 2 x 2 squares.

I added a Tim Holtz word sticker for the sentiment. 

I added some blue and white twine from Doodlebug to the top.

Stampotique Seahorse ATCs

Hello,

Here are 2 ATCs I made using the rubberstamps Roger and Reggie from Stampotique.

I used Tim Holtz watercolour paper. 

I coloured the background with Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean. 

I flicked some water to get splotches.

I used a seaweed and bubble stamp from Recollections that I stamped using the same Distress Inks.

I coloured them with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut them out. I added clear Wink of Stella to their polka dots/stripes and added Glossy Accents on top of that.

I used Tim Holtz word stickers for the sentiments.

Dreamer Altered Playing Card

Hello,

Here is an altered playing card I made using the rubberstamp Smushallaum from Stampotique.

I gessoed the entire playing card.

I used Gelatos in blue, purple, pink, and silver for the background. 

I took some watered down white acrylic paint and used a fan brush to splatter it on the background.

I also splattered on some Glamour Dust (ultra fine glitter paint) in the colour silver bling.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added clear Wink of Stella to her body and in her hair.

I added a Tim Holtz word sticker for the sentiment.

Swim Free Mixed Media Postcard

Hello,

Here is a mixed media postcard I made using the rubber stamp Smumanha from Stampotique.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added some wings (that I cut off of the Stampotique stamp Angel) which I covered in black Stickles. I added pink glitter glue from Studio G to her body and top. I used clear Wink of Stella in her hair.

For the background, I gessoed the surface then applied some Distress Paint in Peacock Feathers. 

I used 3 different stencils: Tim Holtz Sun Rays, Dot Fade and The Crafters Workshop Sea Bubbles. I used Distress Inks in Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers with the Dots/Bubble stencils and Squeezed Lemonade with the Rays stencil.

I used white embossing paste and the Sea Bubble stencil for the bubbles. I rubbed turquoise Stickles over random parts of the postcard. 

Here's a close up of the background:

I went around the entire postcard with Staz On in aquamarine blue.

I edged the sentiment with a black Gel pen.

Under the Sea ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made using the rubberstamp Smumanha from Stampotique.


I gessoed the background and used blue and purple Gelatos which I then blended together with water. 

I clear embossed some bubbles with black Staz On ink.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added purple Stickles to her hair and Glossy Accents on her eyes.

I edged around the sentiment with a black Gel pen.

Circles Never End Tag

Hello,

Here is a tag I made using the rubber stamp Mothloved from Stampotique.

I used a manilla tag and made my own background using neon inks from Hero Arts and circle stamps from Scrappy Cat called Circles/Dots. 

I added some glittery enamel dots inside some of the circles. 

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added clear Wink of Stella to the dots on her dress and added Glossy Accents on top. 

I also added Glossy Accents to her eyes.

I used Stickles on the bow on her head.

I added some turquoise dot washi tape along the bottom.

I edged the sentiment with a black Gel pen.

I used Doodlebug twine in pink, green, and blue and added that to the top.

Believe in Mermaids ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made using the rubber stamp Smushasha from Stampotique.

I wanted to try doing a mostly monochromatic (well except for her red eyes lol) project.

The pattern paper is from a 12 x 12 sheet from Joann's.

I coloured her with Spectrum Noir and Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added Stickles in turquoise all over her hair, her tail and on the bow in her hair.

I used clear Wink of Stella on the rest of her hair and her shirt.

I added Glossy Accents on her eyes.

I edged the entire ATC with Distress Ink in Salty Ocean and I also edged the sentiment with it as well.

I added some blue glittery enamel dots.

Crazy ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made using the rubber stamp Mothloved from Stampotique.

I used Dylusions Ink Spray in Cherry Pie and splashed that onto the background (I was going for blood splatters lol) I added Distress Inks in Spun Sugar and Pumice stone. 

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I used clear Wink of Stella on all the polka dots of her skirt and added Glossy Accents on top. I used Stickles in turquoise on the bow in her hair.

I added some damask washi tape along the bottom.

I added a red star gem from Queen & Company to the top.

I edged the sentiment with a black Gel pen.

Be You ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made using the stamp set Pondering Petunia from Dylusions.

I used Distress Inks on the background and flicked water to create splotches.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I used acetate for her glasses and added Glossy Accents on top.

I used clear Wink of Stella on her dress.

I edged around the sentiment with a black Gel pen.

The Sun Goddess Tag

Hello,

Here is a tag I made using the rubberstamp Angel from Stampotique.

 I used Distress Ink in Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers for the background. 

On top of that I used Tim Holtz's Rays stencil and embossing paste which I coloured with Lemon Zest Dylusions Spray Ink. I added clear embossing powder to give the rays a shiny look.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added clear Wink of Stella to her wings and her dress. I popped her up on foam squares as well.

I added some round yellow gems randomly in places.

I added some yellow yarn to the top.

Believe in Magic tag

Hello,

Here is a tag I made using the rubberstamp Angel from Stampotique. 

For the background, I used different colours of Staz On ink and sponged it on. 

I then stamped some random circles and spirals and embossed them in clear.

I added some gems to the middle of some of the spirals.

I added black and white striped washi tape across the bottom and along all the edges.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added Stickles in green to her wings.

I edged around the sentiment with a black Gel pen and added black string to the top.

Be My Valentine ATCs

Hello,

Here are a couple ATCs I made for Valentine's Day (a little late I know lol) using the digital stamp Martin from Dilly Beans and Glimmering Hope from Stampotique.

I used 2 different pink Gelatos for the background and blended them together with a wipe.

I stamped some hearts with Picket Fence Distress Paint and stamped some swirly hearts with black Staz On.

I added a iridescent heart sticker in the middle.

I coloured him with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut him out. I added Glossy Accents to his eyes. 

I edged around the sentiment with a black Gel pen.


I used Distress Ink in Pickled Raspberry for the background and I took the ink pad directly to the paper and swiped it in a swirly pattern across the entire thing.

I stamped some hearts with Simon Says Stamp Lipstick Red ink and embossed it in clear. I added Stickles in icicle on top of them.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I used Scribbles in berry on the bow in her hair. I took Studio G red glitter glue and added it to her entire skirt and shirt.

I added heart washi tape along the side.

I edged the sentiment with a black Gel pen.

Follow Your Heart tag

Hello,

Here is a tag I made using the rubberstamp Angel from Stampotique.

I used white embossing paste from Ranger and a heart stencil from The Crafter's Workshop called Grunge Hearts. 

I stamped little white hearts randomly over the whole background using Distress Paint in Picket Fence.

I then used 3 different coloured Gelatos in red and pinks and blended them together with a wipe. 

I added Red glitter glue inside the hearts.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I used black Stickles on her wings and clear Wink of Stella in her hair. I popped her up on foam squares.

I edged around the sentiment with a black Gel pen.

I added heart washi tape along the bottom. 

I added a puffy heart sticker and some glittery red yarn to the top.

Christmas Frog Shaker Card

Hello,

Here is a shaker card I made using the frog from the stamp set Critters Ever After from Lawn Fawn.

I used a Spellbinders circle die in 3 different sizes. I added Christmas lights paper as the background for the shaker part. 

I used Scribbles paint in white as the falling snow. I added a snowy mound from some plain white paper for the frog to sit on.

I coloured him with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut him out. I added a Santa hat (from The Octopode Factory blog) and used Stickles in icicle on it.

I used red and green sequins to fill the shaker.

I made a little Santa sign and used some green striped paper for the pole.

I attached the shaker to the card base which is 4 x 4. I used green striped paper for the background.

I edged around the sentiment with a black Gel pen and added a red and green gem to opposite corners.

Frog Princess Tag

Hello,

Here is a tag I made using stamps from the Dylusions sets Pondering Petunia and Curious Corrin.

For the background, I tinted white Gesso with Dylusions Ink Spray in Bubblegum Pink. I brushed that over the entire tag minus the edges. I took turquoise acrylic paint and a dot stencil and added that across the middle.

I edged around the tag with Distress Paint in Picket Fence.

I used flower stamps from Fiskars with Archival Ink in black and then coloured them in with Sharpies. I added different coloured gems to the center of some of the flowers.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. 

I used Stickles on the spots of her dress and her crown. I put Glossy Accents on tops of the spots as well. I added gems to the top of her crown.

I took 3 paper flowers and joined them together with a pearl gem in the center. I attached that to the top corner.

I edged around the sentiment with a black Gel pen.

Lawn Fawn Wish ATC

Hello,

Here is an ATC I made using the stamp set Critters Ever After from Lawn Fawn.

The background paper and top/bottom borders are from the Lawn Fawn paper pad called Hello Sunshine. I also paper-pieced the castle door with star paper also from the pack.

I coloured all the images with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut them out. I used Glossy Accents on the smiling star (so cute), hooves of the unicorn, and windows/flags of the castle. I added Stickles in icicle to the unicorn's horn. 

I used Wink of Stella in clear on the unicorn's mane and the castle tops.

I stamped the sentiment from the set and cut it apart. I edged around it with a black Gel pen.

Mixed Media Mermaid Postcard

Hello,

Here is my 1st mixed media postcard. I used the rubberstamp Smushasha by Stampotique.


I used a piece of Tim Holtz's watercolour paper. 

I used a bunch of different Distress Inks and then sprayed the entire sheet with water.

I used a diamond stamp and black Staz On.

I used a Simon Says Stamp star stencil and Fired Brick Distress Ink in the middle. I then randomly placed purple and blue stars using Peacock Feathers and Seedless Preserves Distress Ink.

I then sprayed the entire thing with Tattered Angels Glimmer spray in Trunk Bay to give an all over shimmer.

I coloured the mermaid with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I used a Ranger embossing pen and some gold embossing powder for the bow in her hair. 

I added Ranger's holographic embossing powder over her entire body and tail. 

Here's an upclose look:
I decided to make her fly by giving her some butterfly wings. The butterfly is an Inkadinkado stamp and I added Stickles in icicles along the edges after colouring and fussy cutting it out.

I used a die for the word believe from My Little Yellow Bicycle. I covered it in Versmark and embossed it in silver. I added a diamond gem for the dot of the i. 

I edged around the rest of the sentiment with a silver Gel pen.
