Hello,
Here is an art journal page I made using the rubberstamps Smushallaum Smushasha and Smumanha from Stampotique.
I used Silks Acrylic Glaze in purple for the background. I then dabbed on some Distress Paint in Peacock Feathers which I went over with a baby wipe.
I used Distress Paint in Picked Fence and a circle stamp to create some bubbles.
I used a Dylusions stamp block to draw the wavy border and I coloured in the black lines with a black Sharpie paint pen.
I coloured the mermaids with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut them out. I used yellow Stickles in their hair and Glossy Accents on their eyes.
Here's a close up of all 3 mermaids:
I used some Tim Holtz word stickers for the sentiment.
I would like to enter this in the following challenge:
Challenge SDC206: Under the Sea
Check it out here: Stampotique Designers Challenge
Thanks for having a look.

Puking Rainbow Guy Art Journal Page
Hello,
Here is an art journal page I made using the digital stamp Puking Rainbows from Wonderstrange.
For the background, I used Dylusions spray inks in Cherry Pie, Bubblegum Pink, Cut Grass, Calypso Teal, and Crushed Grape. I flicked water on it to create splotches.
I used a Tim Holtz alphabet stencil and Picket Fence Distress Paint.
I coloured him with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut him out. I used clear Wink of Stella on the rainbow and the hearts in the cloud. I added Glossy Accents on top of that.
I added crayons to the sides of the page.
I added rainbow heart washi tape to the top and bottom of the page.
I edged the sentiment with a black Gel pen.
Thanks for having a look.

Here is a page in my mixed media art journal using the rubber stamp Glimmering Hope from Stampotique.
To turn her into a zombie, I first fussy cut her out. I then cut her arms off and repositioned them horizontally. I coloured her face green and added Black Diamond Stickles to her shirt, bow and skirt.
For the background, I used Dylusions Ink Sprays in Bubblegum Pink, Cherry Pie and Crushed Grape.
I then used bubble wrap and black Gesso for some texture.
I white embossed a spiderweb stamp from Hampton Art and some tombstones along the bottom.
I also stamped some bats in black Staz On.
I edged around the sentiment with a red Gel pen.

A Couple More Art Journal Pages
Hi everyone,
Here are 2 more pages that I have done in my mixed media art journal.
Here's a look at the first:
This page started with gesso and a large bubble stencil. I then sprayed on Dylusions Inks in Cherry Pie, Bubble Gum Pink and Crushed Grape.
The image is Glinda from the Wizard of Oz. She's a digital stamp from The Octopode Factory. I coloured her with Prismacolour markers.
The quote is from one of her lines in the movie.
Here's the second:
This page features Lydia from Beetlejuice (love that movie!) She's a digital stamp from The Octopode Factory.
I stamped a skull border on top, a graveyard scene on the bottom, and some bats throughout the page.
I sprayed on Dylusions inks in Cherry Pie and Black Marble as well as adding little flicks of water.
The quote is from the movie and is one of my absolute favourite quotes.

Art Journal Dylusions Page
Hi,
Here is another page of my mixed media art journal. I've been eyeing the Dylusions stamps for awhile now and finally got around to purchasing them. I bought the Pondering Petunia and Curious Corrin sets and they are so much fun. Petunia is my absolute favourite though.
Originally I was going to have her holding an umbrella. After playing around with different options for hair, I came up with using the umbrella as a sorta hat.
She is coloured monochromatically in blue with Prismacolour markers.
Here's a look:
For the background, I stenciled Silks acrylic glaze in the colour snapdragon through a dot stencil then painted the entire page with turquoise acrylic paint. I stamped some clouds and raindrops [which are Penny Black stamps] using Staz On ink in ultramarine blue, then clear embossed them.
The border is hand drawn and I coloured it in with a white Signo pen and black Sharpie paint pen.

My Mixed Media Art Journal
Hello everyone,
I thought I'd share some pages from my mixed media art journal. I'm using a Strathmore Visual 5.5 X 8 inch journal that has 140 lb watercolour paper in it. It's really great for using spray inks because the pages don't warp no matter how much water you use.
Here it is:
Here's a look at some of the pages I have done so far:
This page features a digital stamp called Whimsical Mermaid from The Octopode Factory. I coloured her with Prismacolour Markers. For the background I gessoed through a large circle stencil then sprayed Dylusions ink in Calypso Teal over it.
This page is a digital stamp called Devil Girl also from The Octopode Factory. The background is made with Dylusions Ink in the colours Bubblegum Pink, Cherry Pie and Black Marble. It took me a while to find a quote that went with this page.
Lastly this page features the Mad Hatter, a digital stamp from The Octopode Factory. I used a bunch of different colour Dylusions sprays in the background...Bubblegum Pink, Lemon Zest, Calypso Teal and Fresh Lime. I fussy-cut the cups from a 12 x 12 piece of scrapbook paper. They are rubbed with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo to make it look like spilled tea.

My Collage Journal continued...
Hi everyone,
Here are a couple more pages from my Collage Journal. I'm using a Canson XL Mix Media Journal that has 98 lb paper in it.
For this page I actually came across the quote first. This big head was on the back page of my magazine and I really liked her eye makeup, something about it made her look fierce. I coloured her lips a bright red and fussy-cut some flowers to stick on her head. I used zebra striped washi tape on the border and really liked the way it matched the black and white flowers. The star stencil is from Simon Says Stamp.
The background is painted with gold acrylic paint I got at Michaels and I used a black Sharpie to write the quote. I really like how it looks like she is holding the butterfly. The washi tape came in my Simon Says Stamp card kit.
