The Sun Goddess Tag

Hello,

Here is a tag I made using the rubberstamp Angel from Stampotique.

I used Distress Ink in Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers for the background.

On top of that I used Tim Holtz's Rays stencil and embossing paste which I coloured with Lemon Zest Dylusions Spray Ink. I added clear embossing powder to give the rays a shiny look.

I coloured her with Prismacolour markers and fussy cut her out. I added clear Wink of Stella to her wings and her dress. I popped her up on foam squares as well.

I added some round yellow gems randomly in places.

I added some yellow yarn to the top.

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

Challenge SDC184: Bring Me Sunshine

  1. This is such a fantastic tag! I've seen this stamp many times, but never as a Sun Goddess! What a brilliant and totally unexpected idea. I love how she looks against that stunning background and those sun rays are amazing. I also like the yellow gems you added and think the whole thing is highly creative! Thank you so much for sharing your skills with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
