Hi everyone,
For this wicked witch card, I ended up altering an image from The Octopode Factory.
I used the Devil Girl digital stamp but I cut off her pitchfork and horns. I added a witch hat [freebie from the Octopode blog] and skull.
Here's a look:
She is popped up on foam dots and is coloured with Prismacolour markers.
The skull and crossbones ribbon is from Michaels and so are the 3d skull stickers. The bottle of poison is a Martha Stewart epoxy sticker that I bought last Halloween.
There are a bunch of spooky words printed on the background scrapbook paper and I stamped tiny skulls onto some plain purple paper.
My favourite part of the card is her glittery "skull stick" :D
The sentiment says 'have a wicked birthday' and I think it fits well with her.
I'm entering this in the Punk you Girl Challenge 14: Skeletons and Secrets
Check it out here: Punkyou Girl
That's about it...thanks for having a look.

The Greeting Farm's Creeper Crew
Hi everyone,
I thought I'd share some older projects I have made using stamps from The Greeting Farm.
Here are some cards using the The Creeper Crew's Sweet n Toxic set:
I coloured this guy using Prismacolour markers and decided to do something a little different and give him some bright orange hair. The "dude and hey" are from a Simon Says Stamp set. I just love the green and orange combo on this card.
For this card, I used the skull stamp that came with the set and inked it with the Hero Arts neon inks in pink and green. She is popped up on foam squares and I used 1 inch epoxy stickers on the sweet n toxic sentiment.
Here is another card using the girl from the set. I coloured her all in blue and I just love the silver accents on the scrapbook paper, which coordinates really well with the sentiment.
Here's a card using Madden also from The Creeper Crew:
I kinda worked off the sentiment for this card. And I absolutely love the rainbow hair on her. I cut the scrapbook paper into triangles so that I would have a wedge shape in the middle. My idea was to have a shooting star where the sentiment was trailing down but I couldn't get it to sit right so I just did a rainbow of stars instead. I used Staz On ink on those. I silver embossed the sentiment and added a silver star embellishment.

Art Journal Dylusions Page
Hi,
Here is another page of my mixed media art journal. I've been eyeing the Dylusions stamps for awhile now and finally got around to purchasing them. I bought the Pondering Petunia and Curious Corrin sets and they are so much fun. Petunia is my absolute favourite though.
Originally I was going to have her holding an umbrella. After playing around with different options for hair, I came up with using the umbrella as a sorta hat.
She is coloured monochromatically in blue with Prismacolour markers.
Here's a look:
For the background, I stenciled Silks acrylic glaze in the colour snapdragon through a dot stencil then painted the entire page with turquoise acrylic paint. I stamped some clouds and raindrops [which are Penny Black stamps] using Staz On ink in ultramarine blue, then clear embossed them.
The border is hand drawn and I coloured it in with a white Signo pen and black Sharpie paint pen.

Whimsical Alice in Wonderland Card
Hi everyone,
Recently after watching Alice in Wonderland, I found myself really wanting to make a 'Merry Unbirthday' card. The tea party scene is still my absolute favorite scene of the whole movie. It's goofy and strange and just plain cute. So... I made one using a digital stamp called Whimsical Alice from The Octopode Factory.

Here's a look at the card:
The digistamp came with a quote from "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' by Lewis Carroll. I wrote that all along the edge of the card using a black Gel pen.
Alice is coloured with Prismacolour Markers and she has some sparkle on the hearts on her shoes, bow, and bunny.
The background is made with Dylusions Ink Sprays in Calyspo Teal, Fresh Lime and Bubblegum Pink. I then scrunched and placed a piece of plastic wrap over the surface and let it dry. The scrunching causes these really cool lines to form that look like pieces of ice. You can see them if you look closely especially on the right side. Lastly I stamped some swirly circles with white ink for some extra interest.
I really wanted the quote to stand out so I enhanced the 'unbirthday'.

Simon Says Stamp July 2014 Card Kit
I recently subscribed to the Simon Says Stamp card kit of the month. This is my 3rd month receiving this kit and I think it's a great deal for what you get. It's great quality and you get different supplies from different companies.
Here's what was in July's kit called Sending Happy Mail:
My goal is to make at least one card or tag strictly with items in the kit before I add everything into my stash.
Here's the card I made:
I wanted to do something a little different and made the letters/envelopes into flowers. I paper-pieced each letter with the pattern papers. I embossed the 'thinking of you' with silver embossing powder and added some little hearts since the main panel is plain white. The base uses the dark blue cardstock which is very sturdy.

My Mixed Media Art Journal
Hello everyone,
I thought I'd share some pages from my mixed media art journal. I'm using a Strathmore Visual 5.5 X 8 inch journal that has 140 lb watercolour paper in it. It's really great for using spray inks because the pages don't warp no matter how much water you use.
Here it is:
Here's a look at some of the pages I have done so far:
This page features a digital stamp called Whimsical Mermaid from The Octopode Factory. I coloured her with Prismacolour Markers. For the background I gessoed through a large circle stencil then sprayed Dylusions ink in Calypso Teal over it.
This page is a digital stamp called Devil Girl also from The Octopode Factory. The background is made with Dylusions Ink in the colours Bubblegum Pink, Cherry Pie and Black Marble. It took me a while to find a quote that went with this page.
Lastly this page features the Mad Hatter, a digital stamp from The Octopode Factory. I used a bunch of different colour Dylusions sprays in the background...Bubblegum Pink, Lemon Zest, Calypso Teal and Fresh Lime. I fussy-cut the cups from a 12 x 12 piece of scrapbook paper. They are rubbed with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo to make it look like spilled tea.

My Collage Journal continued...
Hi everyone,
Here are a couple more pages from my Collage Journal. I'm using a Canson XL Mix Media Journal that has 98 lb paper in it.
For this page I actually came across the quote first. This big head was on the back page of my magazine and I really liked her eye makeup, something about it made her look fierce. I coloured her lips a bright red and fussy-cut some flowers to stick on her head. I used zebra striped washi tape on the border and really liked the way it matched the black and white flowers. The star stencil is from Simon Says Stamp.
The background is painted with gold acrylic paint I got at Michaels and I used a black Sharpie to write the quote. I really like how it looks like she is holding the butterfly. The washi tape came in my Simon Says Stamp card kit.

My First ATC
Hi everyone,
This is the first ATC that I have made and even though it's small, it actually took longer than I thought it would. Not quite sure why but I like how it came out. I used a digital stamp from The Octopode Factory called Steampunk Little Miss Posy.
The background is made with Dylusions Ink Sprays in the colours Cherry Pie and Calypso Teal. Then I stamped some swirly circles and dots with black Staz On ink.
Posy is coloured with Prismacolour markers and I used Wink of Stella in clear on her bow and for the dots on her dress.
The quote says "You've got what it takes, but it will take everything you've got."
Here's a look:
I would like to enter this in the following challenge:

A Berry Sweet card
Hi everyone,
This adorable image is a digital stamp called Minnie's Berry from Tiddly Inks. Isn't she adorable!?!
I coloured her in with Prismacolour markers and went over the strawberry with my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen.
The top and bottom ribbons are from Michaels and the middle one is a Gorjuss Girl ribbon.
I added a puffy strawberry sticker and my idea was to have the pink enamel dots trailing down as if it was melting with the largest dot on the bottom as the puddle.
